Pond : Zond : Man, It Feels Like Space Again (2015)
-          Forthcoming 6th album
-          Australian group that features members of Tame Impala’s touring band.
-          Led by Nicholas Allbrook, also of Allbrook/Avery, who released his solo debut in 2014.
-          One of the most entertaining lead singers.
-          Latest music and live shows have made me think of 70’s Pink Floyd.
-          This collective of Perth musicians is making some of the greatest psych rock currently.



Ty Segall : Mr. Face : Mr. Face EP (2015)
-          Most recent EP.
-          Released one of the best albums of 2014 called Manipulator.
-          Still on of the best garage psych artists going.

 

Modest Mouse : Coyotes : Strangers to Ourselves (2015)
-          6th album and first in 8 years.
-          Led by Isacc Brock.
-          Just re-released their first two albums at the end of 2014.
-          One of the best bands of the 2000's



Matthew E. White : Rock 'n' Roll Is Cold : Fresh Blood (2015)
-          2nd album.
-          2012's Big Inner was one of that year's best albums.
-          Gospel, blues, folk musician out of Virginia.



Matthew Melton : Outside of Paradise : Outside of Paradise (2014)
-          Solo debut.
-          Leader of Warm Soda and formerly of Bare Wires and Snake Flower 2.
-          Rough, fuzzy, catchy T Rex-style 70's rock.



The Black Angels : Waterloo Waltz : Scion AV: Riley Hawk: Northwest Blow Out EP (2015)
-          Corporate single for Toyota Scion, but one of their best recent songs.
-          Best psych blues band going.
-          Based in Austin and put on the Austin Psych Fest.



Viet Cong : Bunker Buster : Viet Cong (2015)
-          One of the first singles off their forthcoming debut.
-          Made up from members of Women after a member died and they broke up.
-          Women was a hightly acclaimed indie rock band.
-          Jagjaguwar label.



Amen Dunes : I Can't Dig It : Cowboy Worship EP (2015)
-          Most recent release.
-          3rd full length, Love, was a great darker albums of 2014.
-          A different version of this song is on Love as well.
-          Significantly more approachable track from the usually more spacey, jammy, ambient dark rock band.



A Place to Bury Strangers : We've Come So Far : Transfixation (2015)
-          4th album. 11 EPs as well.
-          One of the secret bands that played the 1st of Death By Audio's final 5 shows.
-          From noisy to synth-heavy post-punk.



Krill : Foot : A Distant Fist Unclenching (2015)
-          Forthcoming 3rd album
-          2013’s Lucky Leaves was their 2nd full length.
-          Debut album, Alam No Hris, was out in 2011
-          Led by Ezra Furman's brother Jonah.



JEFF the Brotherhood : Coat Check Girl : Wasted on the Dream (2015)
-          Latest single from just announced forthcoming 8th album.
-          Nashville brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall.
-          Coming off their catchiest album to date, Hypnotic Nights.



Hanni El Khatib : Moonlight : Moonlight (2015)
-          Just announced 3rd album.
-          2nd album was produced by the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach
-          Was one of the rawest, heavy blues rock musicians going, but starting to mellow as the Black Keys have.



Panda Bear : Crosswords : Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper (2015)
-          5th album.
-          Member of Animal Collective, one of the most highly acclaimed Indie bands.
-          Hypnotizing experimental, electronic psych pop.
-          Getting an obscene load of hype, but is sounding like it will be phenomenal.



Logan Hyde : My Only Friend : Innocence (2015)
-          Debut album from Youth Lagoon guitarist.
-          You can hear the swirling, hypnotic sounds like that found on Youth Lagoon's music.
-          Youth Lagoon's Wondrous Bughouse was one of 2013's best albums.



Small Wonder : Ball Lightning : Wendy (2014)
-          2nd release and one of the best that I missed from last year..
-          Led by super young Brooklyner Henry Crawford.
-          DIY indie pop, Peter Pan-themed album.
