-          Wild, impulsive, energetic, sometimes jammy rock.
-          They’ve released some absolutely amazing albums.
-          This album is partially recorded with Jeff Tweedy.
-          They’re boasting that this album is their best album representations of their live shows.

-          5th album.
-          1st album in 10 years.
-          Alt-country along the lines of Wooden Wand or Magnolia Electric Co.

-          Classic soul singer reminiscent of fellow late-blooming contemporary Lee Fields.
