Official Site : MySpace : Amazon : HypeMachine Cloud Cult – There Is So Much Energy In Us - Light Chasers (2010) - 7th full length. - Led by environmentalist Craig Minowa - A band that’s been interesting and influential indie pop since 1995. - I reference this band a lot when talking about newer bands taking on this style because these guys are so good at it! - This is bigger rock sound than I've ever heard from them by far. Official Site : MySpace : Amazon : HypeMachine Grinderman – When My Baby Comes - Girnderman 2 (2010) - Forthcoming 2nd album from the harder rockin' side project from Nick Cave and some Bad Seeds. - Nick Cave is someone who grows on me more and more with every listen. - I hope the entire album sounds as sinister, aggressive and cool as this track. Official Site : MySpace : Amazon : HypeMachine The Black Angels - Sunday Afternoon – Phosphene Dream (2010) - 3rd album from the ominous psych rockers. - Formed in 2004 in Austin, TX - Interesting feel to it… similar to some of the Black Keys more eerie songs - Debut Self Titled EP was released in 2005. 2nd full length out in 2008 Official Site : MySpace : Amazon : HypeMachine Black Mountain - Let Spirits Ride - Wilderness Heart (2010) - 3rd album from this group of Canadians - Amazing cover art… it immediately became my computer's wallpaper. - Jagjaguwar Band… Bloomington’s star loaded label. Official Site : MySpace : Amazon : HypeMachine Lord Huron – The Problem with Your Daughter – Into the Sun EP (2010) - Debut EP - Rich, easy going tropical feel to this track. - Very reminiscent of Fleet Foxes. Tillman is also currently releasing solo tunes. MySpace : Amazon : HypeMachine : DayTrotter The Tallest Man On Earth – Little River - Sometimes The Blues Is Just A Passing Bird EP (2010) - Latest release. 2nd album is just out as well. - This EP is taking off huge behind the featured track ‘Like The Wheel’ which was a bonus track on his last album. - Swedish singer/songwriter Kristian Matsson - Powerful voice. - 2008 self-titled debut was very well received.
