Less of that full drive backbone of drum found on their last album. - This track is about the most mellow one I've heard. Thistled Spring was their latest LP and 3rd overall. - Stripped back sound featuring all strings - Painfully sad at times - unmatched in it’s raw emotion… like the earliest Iron & Wine albums - This music makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up MySpace : Amazon : HypeMachine Tennis - Take Me Somewhere - Baltimore (2011) - Debut LP. Debut EP was out July 27th - Pop husband and wife duo. - Bought a sailboat and sailed around the east coast for eight months and now are sharing their experiences in song form for you. MySpace : HypeMachine Kurt Vile – Earlly Dawnin - In My Time EP (2010) - Forthcoming EP. - dreamy pop rock with vocals that bring up thoughts of Devendra Banhart - like Iron & Wine, cut his teeth with lo-fi recordings… this shows up more on ‘God is Saying…’ - Side project from The War on Drugs' lead guitarist. Died this past July. - Founder of Pink Floyd, but a lot of people might not recognize his contributions. - Responsible for their first album (The Piper at the Gates of Dawn), but is only on a couple tracks on the second. - He became more and more erratic and disruptive to the band and drove them to the point where they had to move on without him. - This is probably his best known song from his solo career and shows some similarities to some Beatles. - Released two solo albums but still worked with Floyd… even with his replacement David Gilmour. - Gilmour Produced this album. Official Site : Amazon : HypeMachine David Dondero – Just a Baby In Your Momma's Eyes - # Zero with a Bullet (2010) - 7th studio album. - Reminds me a bit of Neil Young and Mike Doughty! - This track is a bit more acoustic than the album’s title track. New is ‘1372 Overton Park’ - They have always seemed like the quintessential bar band, they hoarser and rougher their sound the better. 'Post-Nothing' is their debut full length and out earlier this year. - raucous post punk rock - huge energy and distortion. You’ll want to see this song live and as loud as possible.
