-          Only 2 singles out previously.
-          My newest, biggest and hardest band crush.

Modest Mouse : Lampshades On Fire : Strangers to Ourselves (2015)
-          6th album and first in 8 years.
-          Led by Isaac Brock.
-          Just re-released their first two albums at the end of 2014.

The U & U Show 390 | New Sufjan!

Sufjan Stevens : Carrie and Lowell : Carrie and Lowell (2015)
-          I believe it's officially his forthcoming 6th album, but he's also but out numerous other compilations and releases from side projects.
-          One of the most talented musicians that I've been able to enjoy every step of the way.
-          This first teaser sounds like a hope-elevating return to his early stripped back folk days.

Iron and Wine : Everyone's Summer of '95 : Archive Series Volume No. 1 (2015)
-          First in a series of albums comprised of unreleased music.
-          This song is a great reminder of the incredible rough, raw folk Sam Beam did early on.

The U & U Show 373 | More Foxygen & Perfume Genius

Perfume Genius : Grid : Too Bright (2014)
-       3rd full length
-       Best song of 2014 so far.
-       This track burst out away from the delicate, piano-only tracks that filled most of his first 2 LPs.
-       Project led by Mike Hadreas.

Spoon : The Rent I Pay : They Want My Soul (2014)
-          8th album.
-          First album since the band found success teaming up with Dan Boeckner in the Divine Fits.
-          One of the most prominent and critically acclaimed indie bands of the past 20 years.

U & U Show 372 | Yeasayer + Suckers = Seltzer Boys

Benjamin Booker : Happy Homes : Benjamin Booker (2014)
-       Forthcoming debut LP
-       Sounds like it’s even just demo quality, but the potential for something good is definitely there.
-       Best of SXSW 2014

Lee Moses : Bad Girl (Blood Ties) : Time And Place (1971)
-       Only full length album
-       Originally released as a single in 1967.
-       Great deep blues and soul.

Allison Crutchfield : You : Lean In to It EP

-          Twin sister of Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield.

Tobias Jesso Jr. : Just A Dream (2013)
-       One of 2 demos out via YouTube
-       RIYL Nilsson, early Perfume Genius, or early solo Christopher Owens.

The U & U Show 365 | Dan Boeckner's Back... Again!

Operators : True (2014)
-          First single from Dan Boeckner’s (Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs & Divine Fits) latest project.
-          I just attended their ‘5th or 6th’ concert and it came off like a big blend of LCD Sounsystem and Handsome Furs.

Jack White : I Think I Found The Culprit : Lazaretto (2014)
-       2nd solo album out June 9
-       Bringing more of the older, more aggressive style White Stripes' fans were used to.
-       Hi solo debut, 2012's Blunberbuss was a much slower, folkier album.
