- Influential post/punk band back with a slightly better production quality, but still an edge.

- Formed in 2004 in Austin, TX
- Interesting feel to it… similar to some of the Black Keys more eerie songs
- Debut Self Titled EP was released in 2005. 2nd full length out in 2008

- 13th studio album
- Most recent was 2008’s ‘Dig, Lazarus! Dig!!!’ and his two Grinderman albums.
- Like a few artists out there… lou reed and tom waits, he has a huge cult following and a unique/distinct sound

- Cleveland, OH band
- 3rd album is on its way and was recorded in Josh Homme’s studio.

Black Sabbath – Hand of Doom – Paranoid (1970)
- Their most successful album. Features Sporting Event favorites, Iron Man and Paranoid.
- Though my history is a bit limited, this is a great track that I think was overshadowed by the other big hits of the record.
- I’ve caught three of their live reunion shows and had a great time but never heard it.
- I love the transitions between soft and loud sections, it really builds.
