Ryan Bingham - Endless Ways - Roadhouse Sun (2009)
- 2nd full length.
- This gentleman just blew up thanks to the movie Crazy Heart.
- The sound reminds me of everything I love about Ryan Adams/Whiskeytown (prior to his last few records).
- He skillfully address all styles of alt-country. Slow, soft, and folksy to amped up stompers like those of Drive-By Truckers and Lucero.

Whiskeytown - Revenge - Faithless Street (1996)
- Debut album from Ryan Adams' first band.
- Immediate and more aggressive that just about anything he recorded later. A trait that so many brilliant debut albums share.

- Masters of the southern garage/bar room rock.

- they pack so much intensity in their songs. No one sounds quite like them.
- Austin band with ties to Okkervil River
- Almost a voice you’d expect at the opera
- Palo Santo is a great album by them.

- This track has a building warm feel to it.

- Success was unavoidable here in probably the most widely accepted album of the year
- M. Ward’s song writing skill combines perfectly with Zooey Deschanel’s gorgeous voice.
- M. Ward is on just about as hot of a role as possible.

- Debut release out last week, January 19th.
- This makes me think a lot the Suckers, but with slightly less sporadic arrangements.
- They just seem to sway and ramble along. Picking up steam at times, then easing off to balance out perfectly.
