The U & U Show 376 | Yellerkin Returns + 11 Newbies

King Tuff : Black Moon Spell : Black Moon Spell (2014)
-          3rd full length album
-          out of the Vermont
-          psychadelic/powerpop/rock… a little like T Rex vocals
-          His self-titled 2nd album was one of 2012's best albums.

Perfume Genius : My Body : Too Bright (2014)
-       3rd full length
-       Best song of 2014 so far.
-       This track burst out away from the delicate, piano-only tracks that filled most of his first 2 LPs.
-       Project led by Mike Hadreas.

The U & U Show 347 | Winston's Back & Curtis Arrives

Night Beds : Head For the Hills (2014)
-          2nd album. 1st single.
-          Released one of the most gorgeous albums of 2013, Country Sleep.
-          Led by Winston Yellen.

Curtis Harding : Next Time (single) (2014)
-          Only the 2nd of two singles (and one was a VU cover)
-          Incredibly promising soul singer that’s readying one of the albums I’m most excited for.
-          Played with Cee-Lo and, currently, with members of the Black Lips in a band called Night Sun (also readying a debut EP)

The U & U Show 346 | This Girl Band's Got Me Excited

James Vincent McMorrow : Cavalier : Post Tropical (2014)
-          2nd LP. One EP as well.
-          More R&B infused album than his previous work.
-          Slightly mellower style of folk that Bon Iver, but definitely some crossover.

Wet : Dreams : Wet EP (2013)
-          Debut EP.
-          Falls somewhere between Fiona Apple’s latest release and the XX.
