- Debut solo album
- First release since he announced the end of the White Stripes.
Ezra Furman & The Harpoons - Mysterious Power - Mysterious Power (2011)

- One of the most talented and refreshing artists going.
- Played SXSW 2012 in his boxers and with no backing band and was one of the greatest shows!
- Played an incredible cover of 'Sweet Jane'

- 2nd band I saw at SXSW 2012 and one that I didn’t know at all going in. Ended up being a favorite.

- He was the SXSW Keynote speaker this year and gave a really great address.

Deer Tick – Virginia Girl – Tim EP (2012)
- Latest EP
- ‘Divine Providence’ was their latest and 4th album.
- The leader of Deer Tick, John McCauley, has been working on the Middle Brother collaborative project recently and making some brilliant music there.
- This is their first new recording in about 2 years as their 3rd album was recorded during the sessions for their 2nd.
- The is the first single from the forthcoming album and has an easier feel that is more reminiscent of Middle Brother than the older Deer Tick stuff.

- Ben Nichols, lead singer, has been working on solo stuff since this came out.
- Best bar rock band going!
PAPA - Collector - A Good Woman Is Hard To Find EP (2011)
- Led by the drummer for the band Girls.
- Upbeat, a touch beachy and sun-drenched pop and a perfect fit for the end of summer.
- There is something triumphant in their tracks that really draws me in.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. – Morning Thought - It's A Corporate World (2011)
- Debut full length.
- Their 2010 debut EP garnered them a lot of good reviews.
- Playing the White Rabbit Cabaret Friday, June 17th

- Debut full length was 'The Mistress' and made the 2011 Best of the U & U.
- Sounds a bit like the Beatles and the White Stripes and even at times Menomena.

- If you love the old Black Keys you will get into this guy for sure!
- Hard, dirty garage blue rock.

- Album is produced by fellow west coaster, Ty Segall.
- Ty Segall played guitar with him at SXSW!
