Lucero –Goodbye Again - 1372 Overton Park (2009)
- New Lucero!
- Ben Nichol's led band's first album on a major label
- The level of polish has jumped significantly and it doesn't seem to fit with them
- They have always seemed like the quintessential bar band, they hoarser and rougher their sound the better.
- With that said, the polish can't disrupt the band's ability to write quality music.

- This seems to be some relative of a concept album based around lessons he’s learned. Each track’s title is a specific bible verse.

- They feature 3 vocalists/songwriters. This one has Ben Ottewell up front. He has the biggest most rugged voice of the set.
- Their latest work has been very mainstream and nonphenomenal.
